About the Role
The Respiratory Therapist plays a critical role in providing assessment, treatment, and education for patients with pulmonary disorders. This position ensures safe, individualized care, focusing on optimizing respiratory function, adherence to treatment plans, and patient/family empowerment.
Requirements
Current, unencumbered Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in the State of Minnesota.
Minimum of [1–2 years] experience in respiratory care, preferably with some exposure to home health or community-based services.
Strong clinical and assessment skills, with a focus on patient education and autonomy.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to patient homes.
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred:
Experience with chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD, ALS, or neuromuscular disorders.
Familiarity with ventilator management and tracheostomy care in a home setting.
